Default Re: Sweet wormwood protects against Malaria

Great info. I'll do this for my next trip. Garlic and a good Vitamin B complex tablet or capsule is also good. Specifically, Thiamin or Vitamin B1 repels insects. Of course, these supplements are not 100% guaranteed, however, they do help.

A good mosquito/insect repellent is advisable. I used Buzz Away Extreme, an all natural insect repellent which worked very well when I remembered to use it while in Ghana. The mosquitos in Accra are "off the hook"! Having the repellant really helped. Boosting my immune system with lots of fresh fruits and veggies, supplements i.e. Echinacea, goldenseal, zinc and Vitamin C also helped. However, while in Accra, I got it. Upon my return to the U.S., I used wormwood, black walnut and Cinchona (Quinaquina officinalis) in homeopathic form which got rid of the malaria parasite, so it does indeed work to prevent and rid the body of the malaria parasite.
