Htpu fam,
I was given this book as a gift last year in Toronto from Travis A. Blackman, who is an author, hip-hop artist and Canada's 1st and ONLY internationally spoken word poet .my son loves this book!, i read it to him everyday and it helps me to explain the science of melanin to him in simple terms that a young child will overs-stand. Bro.Travis is a community organizer in Toronto and works w/ inner city youth, he was a member of the Cultural Educators a collective of bros. That organizes Afrikan centered lectures, provides dvds, books, pamphlets, and general information about OURStory to the family in Toronto. Their site is www.myspace/culturaleducators. If any of you would like to order this book (which i would suggest esp. To those of you who have children) here is some information on who to contact:

Smiling Lions Publishing Inc.

bro.Travis A. Blackman

bro. Aaron Hosannah

I am sure these contacts will have details on how to order this BLACKNIFICENT book, it also comes with a dvd (which i had but lost when in was in Toronto!!) this is a most BLACKTASTIC Earthday present for your son, daughter, niece or nephew! Odabo.
