The Onipa Abusia, an Akan cultural and spiritual
organization located in Jamaica, Queens, and Washington DC,
invites you to our last Akom.

Onipa Abusia maintains and preserves the traditional culture and
spiritual practice of the
Akan people of Ghana, West Africa, which was established in
America by the late Nana Yao Opare Dinizulu I, founder of the
Dinizulu African Dancers, Drummers and Singers.

The Akom is a weekly collective religious service where the
community comes together
to offer praise through song, dancing and drumming. The Akom also
provides the opportunity to celebrate and receive
spiritual blessings and guidance.

This will be our last Akom. We will observing the traditional ban
on drumming. Akom will resume in
September.

ALL are welcome to join us on June 24 at 11 AM.

Onipa Abusia - 92-15 172nd Street, Jamaica NY Entrance on 172nd
Street, between Jamaica and Archer Avenues


**In WASHINGTON, DC the Akom will be held at -
