Recently slowed by a heart attack and his ill wife, this is a great opportunity to meet and greet a great veteran elder of the Movement called by His Excellency Dudley Thompson "Icon of the Movement," he is highly respected by freedom fighters and African leaders. From his Harlem base, Elombe Brath played a critical role from the 1950's linking and supporting African liberation forces throughout the world leading to the independence of Africa . He has co-founded organizations like the African Mobilization Committee, the Patrice Lumumba Coalition, December 12th Movement and recently the World African Diaspora Union (WADU).
