in five Afrikan languages I know the concept Afrikan and Black are the same thing...is this a useful way of looking at things?

Akan: Abibifo¡ - Afrikan a-prefix added for person/agent | bibi-Black | fo-people

Also found in Abibiman - Afrika (literally land of the Blacks) man - nation/land

Yoruba: Adúláwö - Afrikan a-prefix added for person/agent | dú-Black | láwö-in color

Also found in Ilë Adúláwö - Afrika (literally land of the Blacks) Ile - land

Wolof: Nit-nu-Ñuul Nit-person/people | nu- who are (pluralizer) | Ñuul-Black

Afrikan word of the day Freedom/Independence
Asante Twi: fahodie /fawohodie/ahofadi- to take your body and control it (literally "eat" it)

Yoruba: òmìnira/ìdándè-to be independent/without chains (free)

KiKongo: kimpwânza-the art of being free

Wolof: moom __ bopp- to own (one's) head
