Guosa Language and Resources
Guosa Language is made up of carefully detailed units of the different ethnic languages and divers cultures. There are about 1,800 different ethnic languages, dialects and fractionalized dialects in the West African regional countries and Nigeria alone has a list of 400 different languages, dialects and idiolects. The scope, therefore is to evolve as much as the total number of the West African languages and dialects into the Guosa language, so that in future years the various West African communities or nation-states will be privileged to speak ONE common trade language called Guosa, an umbrella of all the divers tongues and culture in the sub-regions. This will ease local, national and international communication problems as Nigeria and the Economic Communities of the West African State (ECOWAS) will be able to take one stand in the committees of lingua franca communities of the world.
You will find a vibrant list of some languages and dialects presently supporting the conception of the Guosa language by its evolutionist – Alex Igbineweka. In addition, you will observe an abbreviated time line consisting of a series of unfolding national achievements in Nigeria as follows:
1914 brings with it, the unification of Nigeria by the gathering of the various ethnic groups (which have their own cultures, dialects and languages). The coming of 1960 heralds the realization of Nigerian National Independence. An event of such magnificent proportion, that the independence alone certainly and naturally led to the inspirational genesis of the Guosa Language; in 1965 by Alex Ekhaguosa Igbineweka – a revisit of the 1914 coming together as a united Nigerian nation.
If the Guosa Language is accomplished and cemented into the multi-ethnic and cultural fabrics of Nigeria and t he West African States, it will progressively and purposefully move the people of West Africa towards national consciousness, a sense of authentic identity, love and unity in diversity
