Must have P.A.S.S.S. items for communication.

Greetings All!!!
Once a month I will provide a P.A.S.S.S. (Prepared Autonomous Sovereign Self Reliance Solution) tip.
This month deals with Communication.
Whether you are a frequent traveler who travels around the world or just someone whose cell phone is their only phone, you need to seriously consider having these items.
These are the MINIMAL and not all the items you should have to ensure that you are able to communicate with your loved ones when you are talking about having a P.A.S.S.S for the paradigm shifts that WE are and will be experiencing.
I carry this stuff and more in my primary P.A.S.S.S. Kit which I almost ALWAYS HAVE ON ME.
Except when I have to go in court houses, places with metal detectors and other places where I would have to get searched (different topic for a later date)
If you rely on a cell phone at any time, exhibit some Self Reliance and ensure that you put yourself in the most advantageous situation when things go awry.
Anyway here are the things YOU MUST HAVE to prevent you from being irritated and inconvenienced to possibly being able to prevent yourself and your loved ones from harm just by being able to communicate effectively.
Being able to successfully deal with both the micro-manageable to the macro-manageable circumstances is what P.A.S.S.S. Is about.


1)A little Black book.
Taking it back Old School, you should have a handwritten or printed copy of all the phone #s you have in your phone. Especially since I know most of US don't remember how to dial #s from memory anymore anyway. I say the little black book because I know almost everyone already has backed up the #s they have on their cell phone in an address book at home and updates it once a week.
Right???
I have asked some people if they have their #s in thier cell phone backed up on paper. They say yes they have it backed up at home. Which would be totally useless to them if they are far away from home and their cell phone doesn't work and need a phone # to call someone right away. I am not saying they should not have the #s with them only. They should have both.
I am saying that everyone should have them backed up in the house and a portable address book to keep on you.
Also, during a crisis you could have a sustained an emotional, mental and/or physical injury that may incapacitate your ability to remember things under normal circumstances where it would not be a problem.

2)A DC (battery operated/solar) and a AC (pluggable into wall socket) Cell Phone Charger
There are many different chargers and I have owned (the ones I didn't break or give away) and tried many. People complain about their phone dying and could not reach you.
For parents give these devices to your children where they have no excuse as not to being able to be reached.

3)A Phone Card
I know many of US have or do buy phone cards to call long distance and internationally when the cell phone may not be available. However, when your cell phone is not working a phone card will allow you to dial from a pay phone without trying to find coins to put into a phone that may work but may be damaged just enough that it will not accept any coins.
I know there aren't as many pay phones as there used to be but if you find one then this your best option.
Also, I have found in some situations (before unlimited long distance for home phone service became so cheap and people used their cell phone for long distance) that there were people who did not have long distance on their home phone so if you had your phone card you would be able to call long distance.
Especially older relatives. LOL!!
And of course like I said earlier you can call internationally as well with the phone card.

So get these items ASAP because you can no longer say you didn't know.
