my skills & talents

My skills/talents are writing and teaching. I'm currently working as a freelance writer, and I am working on my first novel. Also, I started an organization called Second Season Tutoring and Educational Consulting. We tutor youth and adults in various subjects and help indiviuals and families develop education plans. As important, we help parents to advocate for their families if they have children in public or private schools. We challenge the IEPs and child study teams and help families navigate a system which is designed to annihilate our children. Where home school is an option, we help connect families connected with resources and other like-minded families. For the most part we are able to operate at no cost (with the help of donations),but under some circumstances we charge a nominal fee.
