Why the time is ripe to learn and master Afrikan Languages. ![]() Southside Chicago and Online Classes (Open to Community) Begin Week of January 14 Classes at Malcolm X College (Open to Community) Begin Week of January 25 Classes at Chicago State University (CSU Students Only) Begin January 22 Visit http://www.abibitumikasa.com/Register.php to Join Classes Today As illusions of liberties are being stripped away daily, more and more Afrikans are turning their eyes towards Afrika. In the midst of the pale white american dream, many are seeking life and revitalization in a return to Afrika. For some, this return is physical, for some mental, for others spiritual. For yet others, these aspects of return are inseparable. Despite all of the lies and propaganda urging us not to do so, we have embarked on a journey back to Mother Afrika in various ways. As we do so, the thoughtful understand that this return is incomplete without a mastery of Afrikan languages. For within Afrikan languages we can find the information of traditional healing herbs, Afrikan systems of government, Afrikan systems of economics and more. In our languages we find ourselves and an understanding of our way of seeing the world. A new yet ancient vision that, as we become more and more aware of it, makes the world around us seem to change before our very eyes. As we reclaim our language we come to understand what a void was left when we were forced to leave so much of our natural and self-determined worldview in favor of one concocted and designed to serve our tormentors and oppressors alone. Within Afrikan languages, we come to understand worlds within worlds and we find expression of that Afrikan spirit that, without another outlet, we channeled through saxophones, turntables, groans and the movement of our bodies. The time is now ripe to give that Afrikan spirit its fullest expression not as whiteness draped in kente cloth but in knowledge of Afrika from the inside. We at Abibitumi Kasa invite you to reactivate that part of your spirit heretofore ignored and minimized by many who would point the way back to our way. Heed the call, the invocation, to discover the piece of the puzzle that you might have never known was missing; but that you will find lends meaning to all other pieces and completes the picture. The time is ripe to learn and master Afrikan languages whether your return to Afrika is spiritual, mental, physical or, for the wise, all of these and more. We at Abibitumi Kasa invite you to be the Afrikan that Our Ancestors cried and shrieked for while being lynched for singing lullabies to our children in Afrikan languages or for shouting curses and imprecations at our tormentors in our own mother tongue. Conquer your fears, cross the waters and embrace mother Afrika. Visit us at http://www.abibitumikasa.com or http://www.abibitumikasa.com/Register.php to sign up today. Let Mother Afrika change your life for the better today and change the world for those still more beautiful ones yet to be born tomorrow.
