Make your own head covering

I found this pattern on the net. It is fairly simple, but when I made mine I made several changes.

Instead of 2 pieces of fabric at 12"w x 15"l each, I used one piece of fabric at 23" w x 15" l , and only had one joining seam which would then be hidden when worn.
You could also change the length of the border (not the width) to make it skinnier
And since I made this for myself, I took the border piece of fabric and wrapped it around my head and used this width for the measurement
Gauze fabric works well and has good ventilation for the summer time.
