Well...
ignoring the fact that the video was done by ¡bor¡fo/oyinbo/yovu/yurugu, there were Afrikans singing 'hallelujah' in the dungeons and the children in the school were singing their lord's prayer... Where do we begin? We all need to de-whitenize and Blacken up. Amerikkkan born Afrikans must try extremely hard to leave our euro insanity in amerikkka. The Continent already has enough Black-skinned europeans, it does not need more coming from the united snakes bringing missionary mentality and white arrogance clothed in Afrikan garb. But the same critique goes to Continental born Afrikans. Some of the most Afrikan people that I know have been called ¢buroni during their trips home. I mean Afrikans who never spoke a word of bor¡fo, who never wore euro clothes, who never ate euro food, kwk who still were called ¡buroni. It needs to be understood that labels such as "Afrikan-amerikkkan, Black-amerikkkan, or just plain 'ol amerikkkan" for diaspora-born Afrikans are discouraging/hurtful for Afrikans in the process of re-Afrikanization (well at least for me). Even though I understand that the same white virus that infected Afrikans in the diaspora infected Afrikans born on the Continent and thus our confusion is not limited to the diaspora, there is still a part of me that cringes when an Afrikan born on the Continent tells me that "I'm not really Afrikan." That video, like 'Demons of Ghana' was very difficult to watch.

Keekeekee!Especially that krakkka... By the way, correct spelling is oburoni (sg) aborˇfo(ˇ) (pl). Aane, there appears to be little or no effort at re-Afrikanization here, critical or otherwise. Much of it seems strange to me...if I saw some in Ghana I would say...these are strangers... ![]() AK
