Akan cultural resources...
I've come to understand that learning Twi (or any language) can not be done in isolation. A person must have an understanding of the culture that's connected to the language they're trying to learn. In my case, it's Akan culture. I'm looking for a list of resources (books, websites, traditional oral accounts kwk) that will increase my knowledge of Akan culure, history, spirituality, folk tales etc. I have read a few books by Kwame Gyekye and other writers speaking on different aspects of Akan culture, but you can never have too many resources! All recommended resources will be appreciloved and well received. Meda mo ase...
