    Mekyea mo nyinaa,

This Sunday, we'll deal with os movimentos por jogo de dentro or movements for the inside game.

    This will include:

    Cabecada (headbutt)
    Rasteira (sweep)
    Joelhada (knee)
    Cotovelada (elbow)
    Vingativa (full-body throw)
Boca de calca (pulling of bottom of trousers)
    Arrastao (type of bodyslam)
Acoite de braco (another type of bodyslam)
    Arpao (spinning handslaps)
    Asfixiante (straight punch)
    Godeme (back elbow/backhand)
    Galopante (swinging handslap)
    Cutelo (hand chop)
    Dedeira (eye gouge)
    Telefone (clapping of both ears)
    etc.

For details of each movement, and pictures of a lot of them, visit: CAPOEIRA MOVES! (a few)

We'll also work on Ginga de Angola com Mandinga and Ginga dura de Regional as foundations of two different, but complementary fight approaches.

Songs will include Ie tava em casa (Ladainha) and Aide Uma Nega Africana

For a good compilation of dozens of Capoeira songs, visit: http://www.abibitumikasa.com/forums/...ion-1-0-a.html and download the PDF.

Everyone will be required to lead at least one song.

Also, I found a place for the materials for the Capoeira Abadas (trousers) and got some. I'll be having it made next week. I can take orders for material GHS 2.60/yard and for Berimbaus GHS 40.

Email me back to let me know if you'll be able to make it.

    Akyire,

    Obadele "Africano" Kambon
