Default its about time

Hello to all;
I am a black women born in Canada, my people journeyed up from the Americas in 1783. My fathers people from the Carolinas and my mothers from Louisiana.They settled initially on the east coast now known as Nova Scotia.
My great grandfather married a Mohawk woman and fathered 11 children.On my mothers side it was two brothers that journeyed to find themselves in Novascotia.I am strong in the knowledge of the history of my people.I am always searching and learning more.I lived in the United States for 11 years before finding myself back in Canada. Here there is a lot that needs to be shared in regard to our people and our history. The journey continues.
