Blackicon Idea My introduction

Aboru aboye, Family

Wow this is quite a site to try an navigate. It took me a minute. This is my first post on the site, therefore it is one of introduction.

I am a grandmother, mother and priestess of Orisa. I also consider myself a lover of the arts...dance in particular, music ( they go hand and hand) and photographic art. I love languages and am now attempting to learn Yoruba, the language of my spiritual ancestors.

I am a Pan Afrikanist and I am in the process of joining together with others of like minds to create and Afrikan cultural village based on the Nguzo Saba of Kwanzaa and principles of Maat.

I have worked in the medical field, as a reg. Respiratory therapist, for over 40 yrs ;18 of which was at Children's Mem. Med. Center there in Chicago ( where I grow up). I have worked in most of the major hospitals in Chicago as well as the King Fahad Military Hospt. In Saudi Arabia in it's 5 intensive care units.

I do look forward to learning from you and offering what I know and research.

Default Re: My introduction

Akwabaa!

I actually have a sister that's a resident at the Children's medical center of Detroit. She's a pediatrician.

She goes to Chicago frequently...how long has it been since you were at the children's medical center there?
