Sorry - cyber fufu just cannot rate but when you get to Ghana I can recommend some great fufu chop bars that you may or may not have been to or heard about. My favourite of all is the one located on the Cape Coast/Kumasi road, just south of Asokwa Junction (Obuasi). It is in between villages and not served by electricity. Their specialty is bush meat - in fact the only choice is nkrantie (grasscutter) or antelope. Benches made out of split bamboo are set in the shade of a large bamboo clump. A small crystal clear stream wanders beside the area and provides water for drinking and washing. The soup is always tasty and hot, and the fufu pounded to the correct consistency. By far, a blessed place to satisfy both physical and aesthetic appetite.
