Default Evolution of an Afrikan

Some say that I am aggressive and intensely defensive of my Afrikan ancestory. I say that I am extremely passionate and supportive of my ancestory.

Some say that I am a self hater because I speak harshly of my white brothers and sisters, though I too have european heritage. I say that I speak the reality I have experienced and that anglo are colorless decendents of Afrika who deny their heritage.

Some say that I am a racist, because I want to see a change in the power structure in America and abroad. I say it is time for reciprocity and justice.

It all depends on ones perception and awareness, and the experiences one has tasted while living. I am humbled often by others who are in the trenches of social reform and cultural revitalization, but it seems there is a great disconnect between the generations. One of my goals is to link that generational gap, so the elders and the young warriors may find common grounds of awareness regarding the decolonialization of our cultures.

I make staffs, canes, traditional wooden weaopons, and put tribal markings on them, as one way to perpetuate our cultural heritage, and may start selling them online in the future. I write too, that others migh look at thins from alternative perspectives; angles of awareness. I enjoy writing and researching.

Well, I must get back to my duties, but I wish all my brothers and sisters a productive day.

Peace and Victory!

Alase
