Mwana mbuta ou mbutani : neveu, nièce, enfant issu des frères d'une même famille. Chacun d?eux est membre du clan de sa mère.
Nkaka : grand parent
Nkaka-nkaka : arrière grand parent
Ntékolo : petit fils, petite fille.
Ntékololo ou mwana ntékolo : arrière petit fils, arrière petite fille
Nkuluntu, mfumu : frère aîné
Mpangi, nléké : frère cadet
Landi, landu : cadet
Milandu : enfant suivant des jumeaux
Mbutani : cousin parternel
Nkàzi ou mukàzi : épouse, différent de nkazi : frère
Nkazi : frère
Busi : sur
Nlumi ou mulumi : époux
N'kàma désigne les épouses des frères d?une même famille.
Mpala ou banda : co-épouse
Nzadi : beau frère, belle sur
Buko : beau père, belle mère
Nkuézi : belle famille


Tata : père
Tata nkento : s?ur du père
Tata dia nléké : frère cadet du père
Tata dia nkuluntu : frère aîné du père
Mama, ngudi : mère, tante et oncle maternels
Mama-a-nkazi ou ngudi-a-nkazi ou ngwa nkazi : oncle maternel
Mwana, bana : enfant, neveu et nièce
Mwana nkazi : neveu, nièce, enfant issu des surs d'une même famille, membre de plein droit du clan auquel appartient toute leur mère
