    Akhu,
I have been on this website for a week and I find there is so much information. For several years now I have been trying to shake off all the western and neocolonial ideas I imbibed on my way to freedom. Much that only contributes to Yuruga's agenda has been put away, but I am reaching out to as many true Africans as I can find to shed more light on the road ahead of me. Do you have any recommendations?

...to get upset/frustrated at Afrikans who are genuinely trying to be Afrikan and neglect the true source of our frustrations.

But on the other hand, we still must be able to distinguish between the "small stuff" and the "big...

A few weeks ago I was at an Afrikan children's event assisting some warrior scholars with their vending. So we're there with the table of books set up and two young brothas (somewhere between 10 and 13) approach us.

One of the brothas shouts out, "ooo books!" and runs over to our table.

The second brotha runs up behind him and says "you said you saw food?" Then the first brotha replys "yeah, brain food."

The brothas began checking out the pictures on...

1. I don't hate europeans because that gives them power over us.
~It is natural to hate that which seeks to destroy you and your family/nation. The body hates disease so it seeks to remove/destroy it. Fighting a disease does not make the disease stronger or give it more power.

2. There are so many different countries, languages and 'tribes' in Africa. You can't possibly define African culture.
~There is a Continent-wide cultural unity that overrides the superficial diversity...

european politics is called the “art of compromise.” It seems then, that we are europeans, right down to the bone since compromise is all that we seem to know how to do. It seems that we have forgotten how (or refuse) to be strong. Statements such as “well, you just have to play the game” should not be a common cliché amongst a people claiming to want liberation. Is anyone man enough or woman enough to stand up and stop “playing games?”

In martial arts,...
