Greetings Asantewa,
Thanks for stopping by, I repatriated in 2004 lived in Cape Coast for 3 yrs, I intend to go and come, I have 3 daughters, 11 granchildren and 2 great grand, my Mother is 84, I would not think of never coming back to be with them, even though I do not like the U.S. at all now that I have expereicned a whole different life style. Having some health challenges also at the present time, so a lot depends on that too.
I hope you will share with me about your expereicnes, I'm still processing, many disappointments in the reception of the Brother's & Sister's in Ghana, I understand they are in survivsl mode, but it is difficult to swallow the way they treat those of us from the diaspora as commodities, $$$ - Most ppl from the diaspora do not understand if they have visited, because Ghanaians are very friendly, the difficulties start when you settle in to stay for a while. I guess I understand why they would be leary, they remember Liberia. So many ppl have mistreated and stole from them.
Well, hope to hear from you about your expereinces.
Peace,
Sister Ngon'e
