Thank you for answering back. The point is you eventually did. Deeming the fact that we are both people on the path needless to say things can get hectic and very busy. Yes I am in the Haitian Voodoo system of spirituality and also have been a student of an ancient Congolese Martial Art called Libanda. I have been in consultation with this Congolese master for around ten years. I have studied and researched many fighting systems from the African Diaspora. It is sort of a calling of mine. I am a person who is of both Ayitian and Congolese descent (My mother is from Haiti. My father is from the Congo. ). I don't know about Biafran. You might be able to shed some light on that fighting system. But Capoeira Angola, Tire Machete (Haitian Machete Fencing), various African and African-based stick fighting forms, Various fighting forms under Ahati Kilindi Iyi such as Gidigbo, Aha Saki and Zulu Impe, 52 Blocks (Jail House Rock), as well as studying Shaolin Kung-Fu for more than ten years. I am on the road to priesthood in Haitian Voodoo under the wing of Gro Mambo Angela Novanyon Idizol. She is based out of Philadelphia and is one of the foremost advocates of African Religions worldwide. She is the founder of the National African Religion Congress, a certifying and governing body for practitioners of African-based reiligions worldwide. I can go into the real history of NARC, Mambo Angela and Voodoo but I think that would deserve a conversation so I suggest an exchange of information. I can be reached at 2678258453. Feel free to call any time and be sure to leave a message if you don't catch me the first time. In reference to some of what you were asking would fill a book up on here so just call so I can let you know whats going on and how you can get involved if that is something that you want to do. Again to much to say but not enough room to say it.

Hello. My name is is Will Fisk and your profile caught my interest because in your biobgraphy you said you were an Nganga in training. I have been a student of a Haitian Voodoo priestess for more then ten years. I have connected with Fu Kiau and other master teachers in the traditions mainly the martial traditions from the Congo. Have you studied with Fu-Kiau? Have you been initiated in the Lemba and Kimpasi societies? I understand that I'm asking a lot of questions but their are not a lot of our people out there that are on the path of the true African Way. It is refreshing to find an individual that found a true master to learn from rather than becoming an arm chair Afrocentric learning about African spirituality through books written by white scholars. I hope this message is recieved in your best of graces. I am simply trying to humbly connect to someone who seems to be on a similar path as I am. Ask any question that comes to mind before you answer ang questions that I have posed to you. I thank you in advance for this chance to connect.
    ONE LOVE

Summer Solstice

by FridayChildof Growth on 06-15-2012 at 05:44 PM
Greetings Brothas and Sistas,

I hope this information reaches you well! I might be preaching to the choir on here but just in case, I wanted to bring your attention (if it wasn’t already) to an awesome day of observance! A celebration that was paramount in the ancient traditions of our Ancestors and which should still be an important time of celebration in our lives today…
This event is the Summer Solstice and it will be occurring on June 21st and lasting through to the 24th.

First Afrikan I-pad (and with an Afrikan inventor)....

by FridayChildof Growth on 06-09-2012 at 11:37 PM
I was sent this article by a brotha-fren' about a young Kongolese inventor who has created the first Afrikan ipad for sale in brazzaville today. I thought it was very interesing and wanted to share it with family. What are everyone's thought on this creation? Benefitial to Afrikan people? Destructive? Excess? Ingenious? Lets talk about it! Peace

Baby Wearing

by FridayChildof Growth on 05-29-2012 at 12:48 AM
Light Family,
I hope you all are doing well. I found a great article on thebenefits of baby wearing and I had to share it with ya'll, as it is such a beautiful way that we can strengthen the bond with our children (whether we birthed them or if you are a caregiver). Unfourtunately in this country many of us have strayed away from this ancient practice, and our children are suferingf rom the disconnect. With thats said, as we continue our movement for re-Afrikanization and liberation from all
