As a College Professor of Education, and a Professor of Afrikan Studies in the university, and as a Solutionary, I stand on the bedrock principles of adacemic freedom.
With this as a backdrop, all of my
writings, books, articles, lectures, etc.are based on my exercise of Professorial academic freedom.
What does academic freedom mean
in relationship to a professor;s expressions, in and outside of the classroom milieu?
Below is an overview of Academic Freedom:
Educational institutions are communities unto themselves with rules of their own, and when conflicts arise, the most common and compelling arguments involve freedom. As a result, the academic community is famous for blazing new trails of freedom in society at large, and it is often forced to confront its own concepts of freedom in the process.
