"The rebuilding of our families, the rescue of our ancestors, the repair of our broken lives are demands that must be met by each of us. This is not just merely a job for the historians or the artists, but for all of us whatever our vocation or avocation may be."

"Perhaps the most frightening problem is not trying to figure out what to do about Black children who do poorly in schools and on tests. Perhaps the most frightening problem is demonstrated in the form of a question: What does it mean for a Black child to perform well within a school system and on standardized tests that are historically and inherently designed to prove and maintain white supremacy?"

It is of the utmost importance to know that family building is Fundamental to nationbuilding. ReAfrikanization and personal development can only be accomplished within the context of the family. We must not permit ourselves to take this matter of relationships and family development lightly, nor unknowingly introduce elements of an alien paradigm.Vigilance in this regard, with an ear for the guidance of the Abosom and Nsamanfo Nananom is Mandatory.

The memory is still very fresh in my mind....it was a Saturday....on a very bright sunny June afternoon...my father propped me up on the kitchen counter and began to recite to me the bizarre circumstances and horrific, heart-wrenching details of the MAAFA.This was the 1st time i had ever heard any member of my family acknowledge their Afreekan origin with such spiritual conviction, undying passion and revolutionary fervor! At the time, i was 6 years old and very much in love and in awe of this ebony...
