Akan Proverbs have been like shields and spears to me to counter existential problems. Given the world of oppression,trauma, hatred and octracization some of us have endured at the hands of brainwashed religious leaders, power hungry to soothe their own bruised egos. The miracle is that we have endured and those who have succumbed to the horror of having no place the spirit can breathe free and heal only goes to show it is Liberation or death. We just cannot thrive without self respect. That is why I wonder why yurugu continues on with the atrocities against us. Some Proverbs in my Arsenal against Domination are the ff.
