Default OBAMA, 4 MORE YEARS / NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF AFRICANS

OBAMA 4 MORE YEARS / NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF AFRICANS

I have been thinking about this for some time now, and I have to agree with most African centered people who are not fooled by President Obama's selection, that his presidency is a disaster. Black Americans and Africans across the globe have been relegated to fighting against each other as to why president Obama is either good or bad, instead of organizing, planning and fighting against white people who are the real problem. In addition to that:

      1) His "selection" to the presidency has presented a false image, that racism- white hegemony no longer exist.

      2) Resistance from African people (Part-time African centered people, Black liberals, Black conservatives, etc), who would have been "on the fence", regardless of the situation, has been completely nullified. Most Africans in America see the Obama presidency as an improvement. To most image is enough.

      3) The policies that Obama is told (by white people) to promote are not in the best interest of African people: normalization of homosexuality; healthcare reform that mandates that African people purchase expensive health insurance from private companies; invading sovereign nations under the guise of liberating the inhabitants; white corporatism expanded .

I rather have a white man or woman in the "white house", thus African people would really know who that office represents and protects. African people would be able to connect clearly the power structure oppressing them across the globe instead of the Obama mirage that convinces many that things have changed. Many will disagree but I will not be voting either. However, I will make an effort to discourage Africans to play the "3 card Monte" game called voting.

Default Re: OBAMA, 4 MORE YEARS / NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF AFRICANS

I'm no sage but I knew Obama was not good for us the first time around. Why? Because he loves america and all that it represents. Anyone that's going to uphold america politically, economically, socially, militarily, kwk is not someone we should be supporting. You'll get no disagreement from me Nua Asarhondo.
