So am I wrong in my assessment? I was not trying to imply that the evil that we have endured for centuries really doesn't mean anything and that the whole issue is merely academic. I was just coming from a DNA perspective. Sorry if I seemed like I diminished our situation, wasn't my intent.

There's no wrong answer in this thread, we're all just here to offer perspectives. Via site policy, there is, however, a "wrong" answer for registration on this site.
