It seems to me that all some folks know about our history is the part about slavery [this is tragic],but they know very little about before.There is so much more to us than those 500 years [we are in fact the indigenous peoples,our story goes back to the beginning].I wish that we could instead get over these things enough with our own selves so that we can focus on taking back our lives as a people.Let us honor those that came before us by rediscovering who we are in the nature of things in this great circle of life.
