killing afrikans in colombia is heinous crime!

Press Release 18
November, 2009.
Bamako, the Republic of Mali.
Subject: KILLING OF BLACKS IN COLOMBIA IS HEINOUS CRIME AND UNACCEPTABLE.
The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for peace, Friendship and
Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) has learnt with shock and disappointment at
Colombia’s policy of race-killing of black people in that country, and
calls on the United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon to act and
save the black population in Colombia. Information at our disposal
reveals that the government of President Alvaro Uribe in Bogotá has
ordered the Colombian security to kill any black person who refuses to
join the military in readiness to execute the other phase of Plan
Colombia, which is, the invasion of Venezuela to overthrow the
democratically elected Government in Caracas and replace it with a
willing tool. Colombia has also a plan to kill President Hugo Chavez
and other top government officials in Venezuela.
Since August 6, 2009 when forceful conscription of young men and women
into the Colombian army began, over 300 Africans have died in the
hands of the Colombian terror machinery for refusing to join the
national army. This information was revealed to the Hugo Chavez
International Foundation for peace, Friendship and Solidarity
(HCI-FPFS) by our Latin American representative currently on a
fact-finding mission in Colombia, to investigate gross human rights
abuses and other inhumane practices in that country. The information
further elaborates that the occupation US military has been bombing
towns and villages belonging to indigenous peoples, who the government
of President Uribe presumes are enemies and who must be destroyed.
The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for peace, Friendship and
Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) is of the view that this development in Colombia
is an affront to democracy and freedom, and a serious threat to peace
and security in that region of Latin America. It is on record that the
government of President Alvaro Uribe has been destroying the people of
Africa with dangerous substances including cocaine, etc. It is also on
record that the government of President Uribe has of late been
involved in acts of terrorism on the African continent, and stands
indicted for the brutal murder of President Joao Bernando Vieira and
his Army Chief of Staff in Guinea Bissau. Bogotá stands indicted also
for arming, training and helping the terrorist forces fighting to
destabilise the unity, sovereignty and independence of Senegal.
Besides, Colombia is currently working precisely in collaboration with
other hostile forces to overthrow the Government of President Moussa
Dadis Camara in Guinea. Colombia is disturbed by the successes chalked
recently by the Government of Dadis Camara in the war against narcotic
drugs trade in Guinea.
The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for peace, Friendship and
Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) therefore views the human rights situation in
Colombia as disheartening and appalling for a government that enjoys
massive military, economic, political and diplomatic supports from the
US Government and its European allies. We call upon the international
community to exert pressure on the government of Colombia to respect
the human rights and freedom of blacks in that country. The
international community, particularly the United Nations Security
Council owes it a duty and responsibility to see that moral
international principles enshrined in the Green Charter on Human
Rights, the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Geneva
Conventions and other relevant instruments and charters dealing with
human rights are respected by Colombia.
The Hugo Chavez International Foundation for peace, Friendship and
Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) position is that forceful conscription into
national army constitutes crime against humanity, and the anti-blacks
policy promoted by the government of President Uribe in Colombia is at
variance with international civilised norms and standards of
behaviour. The ongoing killing of black people in Colombia is
unfortunate and unacceptable.
We call upon United Nations Security Council to protect blacks and
indigenous peoples in Colombia against President Uribe’s domestic
terrorism.
By this Press Release, the Hugo Chavez International Foundation for
peace, Friendship and Solidarity (HCI-FPFS) wishes to reassure
Africans everywhere of its unflinched solidarity. The Hugo Chavez
International Foundation for peace, Friendship and Solidarity
(HCI-FPFS) will continue to advocate for all nations and countries of
the world to respect and treat blacks equally with dignity.
Surely, blacks will prevail everywhere!
