Excellent question and great comments thus far. Only some one in deep denial can not see that amerika is becoming more and more untenable with each passing day. The reality hit me very recently that we will have to vacate this place in the very near future. This is indeed a process. I too have become used to some of the comforts, however, we are working diligently to rid ourselves of these things. My mission is to rear and raise children similar to the way you, Obadele, were raised. No allegiance, tie to, or comfort with our enemies. Bit by bit, with each day and each generation we get better.....

Have you considered rescinding/renouncing (second class) citizenship of a repressive criminal organization?

...including, but not limited to the united states, united kingdom, france, belgium, portugal, holland, germany, kwk?
Yes I have! The only thing stopping me at this point is my family who continue to reside in the u.s. I want to maintain the ability to come and visit them after my repatriation to my homeland.

I agree. At least in the u.s. discussions amongst Afrikans with some degree of sense with regard to peak oil, martial law and state repression, police brutality kwk seem to have an underlying current that our fate is inextricably linked with that of our historical enemy. I was joking with someone that when the effects of peak oil hit and the lights go out for the last time, no one will notice here. As someone who has already made the physical separation breaking those legal ties that bind is beyond tempting.

I see the comfort piece as particularly insidious because one can change one's location without changing one's orientation towards it.
In my estimation, the created tastes and desires piece (comfort) is one of several major pieces to move the separation agenda forward past the current discussion

      1. Changing created tastes and desires to lines consistent reAfrikanization+dewhitenization
      2. Creating a free-standing gold-based or some other legitimate-basis of currency to assist in fulfilling the reAfrikanized+dewhitenized tastes and desires
      3. Developing/"Perfecting" a means of defending same/offending against different

That's a serious and real concern. One option is to move such family here but there are differing degrees of feasibility for this for various people...particularly for those who have family that wish to remain inextricably tied to their historical/current/future enemy. To assist in repatriation for family requires a base of operations for receiving them as well.

True. Also, can you speak, in your own personal case, of any perceived/real benefits of continuing association with our historical/current/future enemy? Also can you give examples of potential costs that would cause to you sever that tie?

To answer your first question they are no benefits. When I think of future generations (in particular my bloodline) they may look back at me and say, "he knew why didn't he do"? To answer your second question see the first.

This brings up an interesting question of "is knowledge without concomitant action really knowledge". The only way for future generations to know what we know is through our actions as shown through the ourstorical record.

Obadele, I agree with you. Unfortunately, neither my Mother or Father are willing to travel outside of the u.s., especially to Afrika. Aside from their closed mindedness, disinterest and false perceptions of Afrika they are both dealing with diseases and ailments that limit there ability to get around comfortably.

I could see circumstances where I take up residence in another country, but I don't see me giving up my residency in the US. The main reason is one that someone else mirrored, family. I want the ability to come in and out easily to see my family when needed. Right now I just want to get to travel to a few countries in Africa so that I can see if there are ways that I could go there and sustain myself and live comfortably as possible.

I think traveling to a few countries and getting the lay of the land would be good. The benefit of traveling to see family is definitely understandable. Are there any potential future costs of staying tied to u.s. "citizenship/residency" that could cause you to abandon it?

It would have to be something serious, life altering event that would cause me to renounce my citizenship. I see the climate around me and know this US ship is going to sink soon so I know I need to make a exit plan just in case, but even in that situation I don't see a big enough reason to give it up. But I make a policy to say never..

That's an interesting analogy of going down with a sinking ship. Do you feel your view is due to your loyalty to the united states? If so, why are you loyal to it? Are you concerned due to fear of what would happen if you severed the ties that bind? If so, what might you be afraid of? What life-altering events short of or beyond the "us ship sinking" could cause you to give it up?
