      w a s ma lra nyn [Beauty can leave from the body of a person]
      gbn w n b ni d sr [However a persons character will go with a] .. . person to the grave]

      fn nw, rr n r [Character is like smoke, eventually it will rise (to the surface)]
      nyn gbkr ny [A person lives off in the distance in honor]
      gbn snm ni, la fi me ni [But with closeness we learn of a persons actions]
      w k n fonw sl [Character will not leave its owner alone]

      w m l sm lrk [It is a childs character that gives the child a name]
      m dra ku w [Even if the child seems fine, there is still a need for character]
      Ara dra ku a [Even if the body looks fine, there is still a need for clothing]
      s dra ku bt [Even if the feet work fine, there is still a need for shoes]

      Bnyn dra t k nw [If a person seems fine but doesnt have character]
      padan ohun ribiribi [He/She is missing something very valuable indeed]
      w rere l nyn [Good character is a persons bodyguard]
      r baba w, w baba wre [Patience is the progenitor of character, Character is ] . the progenitor of blessings]
