This years theme is Akili na Moyo which means MIND & HEART in the language of Swahili. The 2008 Festival is dedicated to the legacy and memory of one of the Festival founders, Mzee Moyo. The family of organizers, activists, volunteers, vendors, artists and audiences pay tribute to his legacy. We also acknowledge everyone, who has helped over the past 37 years to build this institute of culture and commerce. Due to the challenging economic climate, the support of the community is needed to produce this years event.
