Uhuru Kmtyws,:hello:
I am working on a repatriation video documentary
that involves questioning just our Nananom, and I
would like everyone's help/input!
These are Nananom who have repatriated to Ghana since
Ghana got its independence and some even longer than
that! These elders are our living history, and we are working
to tap into the wealth of their knowledge. We are finding
out how they did it so we can make this process better for
ourselves and those who come after us!
I am calling on those within the Abibitumi Kasa family who are
interested in asking them questions about repatriation to
list your questions in this thread. Your questions may then
be added to our questionnaire, which will be part of the
documentary!
The documentary will be available for viewing when complete, esp. for
those who list their questions.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants info about
coming to Ghana, so please bring your questions!
Uhuru!

Here are some the questions we have thus far:
What made you decide to repatriate to Ghana (instead of another Kmtyw country)?
What political/economic issues were going on in the country you repatriated from?
How were you able to... purchase a home/land/obtain a job in Ghana?
How is the economy of Ghana now compared to when you first came?
What did you do in preparation to get to Ghana?
What recommendations do you have for Kmtyws who want to move here?
What have been the things you've enjoyed most about living in Ghana over these years?
