In the correct version, one is thinking about Yorùbá in Yorùbá. In the incorrect version, or for the sake of PC, the transitional version that one would want to move away from, one is thinking about Yorùbá in english and translating it in their head in english and 1) trying to map the english "meaning" onto Yorùbá and 2) letting the english even overflow out of their brain onto their tongue and out their mouth.

Phrases that are easily recognized on paper can start to become easily recognized by the ear.
