My grandmother was an excellent Kmtyw applied scientist. She would not let my Ena and the rest of her siblings into the house after school until after my grandfather got home every day. She forced them to be outside. How many children (and adults) of today spend no extended periods of time outdoors getting mud on their hands, dirt on their feet, and grass in their hair?

I encourage my queens to go outside. Sometimes we all just sit on the steps in the sun-priceless. If I could just convince parents that the REAL expense in regards to parenting is not exposing our children to the right place and time.
