Is repatriation the be-all and end-all goal? Like once you repatriate you're done?

So you're suggesting that we should be doing something other than sipping mango juice once we repatriate? :hello:

Sipping mango juice should clearly be PART of the post-repatriation strategy... :hello:

I'm sure there are some Negroes who have repatriated looking for whatever, probably to make a buck or manipulate a situation to make a buck. So no it's not.

for those who do repatriate, what would you think it would be more appropriate to do instead? also, what do you think is the goal of life for an Kmtyw if not repatriation for repatriation's sake?

First, I want to make clear I'm not opposed to folks making money, it's how much they want to make and what they want to do with the money made. I think those that repatriate should be looking to work with that society/culture to better it. For us specifically that means fusing with traditional culture and helping make adjustments/adaptions for today's world. I feel that should be a main goal of a repatriate. Those that don't chose to repatriate hopefully will create spaces wherever they are that allow us to be Kmtyws. I think we all should learn at least one Kmtyw language and follow our spiritual practices wherever we are.

It might sound corny, but create the kind of Kmt that you thought/wish it would be. I can think of places like atlanta, dc, kwk where there is a hub of Kmtyw activity (culture relating to liberation). My goal would be to create that kind of dynamic on the continent. Basically, the same (Kmtyw) stuff we're doing over here minus the krakkker dependency.

It does sound corny, but BlackNificent all the same. BTW, we need reinforcements...here repatriates or I guess you could call them u.s. expatriates will get mad at you for not going to the thanksgiving celebrations... :paranoid::troll:

These sound like BlackCellent goals across the board.

A few good things that come to mind for folks to do after they repatriate:

-Engage in development-type work with local organizations
-Work with local organizations whose goal is to preserve indigenous knowledge/technologies
-Create employment opportunities for other Kmtyws (including those with a desire to repatriate)
-Stick the flag of your former captive country at the bottom of your toilet and use it for "target practice"

Repatriation makes buying black a lot easier. It makes not paying taxes to the united snakes repressive apparatus a lot easier. It makes learning and thinking in Kmtyw language a lot easier. It makes not having to answer to yurugu or work for them a lot easier. These are some of the most important things I was working on  in united snakes before we repatriated. It makes healing the wounds of enslavement possible since there are exceedingly few micro aggressions to absorb anymore. It allows us as warriors to fulfill our primary duty as prisoners of war -- escape.

Yes I think repatriation in and of itself goes a lot farther than speech listening, rhetoric spouting , dashiki and lapa wearing and  ifa ceremony doing after working all week for yurugu in their corporations or government suppressive apparatus while sending our children to their mind control institutions all day for consciousness falsification.

Talk is cheap. We talk and talk about being Kmtyw. Brothers and sisters put your ass where your mouth is and escape yurugu land.

Escape yourself. If you can't liberate your loved ones, prepare a space in the home land for them and go back for them later. If they don't want to go leave them. Remember Harriet and Marcus.

I like ur mind bro! So My story in short, I started out actively trying to leave whitey land with a group of about 5 different families from my community whom I had been working, building and raising my children together for some years. We were all poets or artist in some way. We spit black power poetry and was well known and respected for it. We raised money as a collective towards the goal of supporting struggling black owned buisnesses in need. Long story short, I was not over the money I just did my job by bringing in DA followers thru sharing my poetry. After I realized that folks were paying theirselves and we were'nt doing anything, I left da group. I proposed to other members that eventually left too to let Kmt be our focus and come together and repatriate. After talking, planning, and doing small events around to raise awareness about how and why we needed to focus on Kmt. Another two years of trying convince people went on. I moved my family to Belize stayed a year and back to DA states. Where I had left my community friends/family's there to save with everything I set up to assure everyone in my group had what they needed to repatriate. After I came back all talk of Kmt had stopped. Meanwhile I had been supporting them. I had folks living with me and all. It was then that I decided to stop trying to bring others with me and focus on my family. I made my first trip with the Kambons thru Sankofa's Journey. I was thrilled at my experience and to meet others that were doing it without their teeth being pulled. I didn't have to convince anything. As a matter of fact I cried so hard being there in Ghana publicly after all my hard work seemed to be in vain and I felt so alone. I just wanted to come home. It was joy and pain all in one. Spirits told me to come back. I committed to that request and set out to do so. When I got home who I was to my community continued. I took on three different families at once. They all lived with me. At the time I was a single mother of two. I had a three bedrm duplex. I allowed 3 women with children and a partner into my hom.  (one was pregnant, and had 3 other children already with her) Slowly my money stretched too much and another two years passed me. I eventually saw my cycle and realized I wud never get to Kmt like this and the people I was helping didn't want anything more than this, they were satisfied with that existence. I slowly cut everyone off, I stop breastfeeding grown ass women and men. In that time I had also tried to save my children from being raised by a single mother as I was. I got back with their father and tried to make it work. Another couple years passed of me working, struggling, and trying to help someone else rise before myself. I had to let that go too. After  I was blessed with my son(Happy about this!) I knew I had to change my approach .Once again seeing my goals and where I wanted to be and feeling held down. I freed myself and within that same year I have made it back to Ghana, found a house to rent for me and my now 3 babies, found a school, and a job offering, plus I will be opening my healing center there. So I don't listen to people any more talk about our problems as a people. I am too busy solving them by saving my family. It took me a while to get here 6 years since my first trip but my family tickets for our return is booked and I'm now working only for my family. August 4,2017 my family will be home in Adenta Ghana. If I have learned anything it is to take care of self first as I always tell my clients now. Self love is the first expression of loving your people!
