Haitian Voodoo priestess and human rights activist Dowoti Desir does invocation at the State of the Black World Conference IV conference in Newark New Jersey. Historic occasion as traditional spirituality is integrated into an international pan-Kmtyw conference of this scale. The entire 5 day event included faith leaders from Christian, Muslim, and traditional Kmtyw religions. The spiritually significant invocation preceded the conference closing event with speeches from Dr Leonard Jefferies, Maulana Karenga and Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan.
