Yeah.

This is funny. I don't know the stuff they're referring to, but if it's that contradictory, it's a warning to students about why not to plagiarize and lie, because you'll be caught in the end.

Yeah you'll get caught in the end but all you need to do is find a verse and you'll be free and clear again.:D
How many christians you know if shown this would actually go verify the scriptures on their own to see if it's true or not. Or how many would just shut you down and say something scripted in response?

They would say something like "Praise Christ Jesus" or something like that. So I would say the latter. I know a few that wouldn't have to look up the scriptures. They would know the veracity of them upon listening to the video. They know the Bible that well.
The question for me is would they do exactly what was done in the video and try to trump one scripture with one they see as overriding or more important than the other. But then aren't all scriptures equally as important? I really don't know since I ain't a Christian. Then you have the Old Testament folks vs the New Testament folks. See what goes on here? That's been my experience in these discussions. It's a never ending scenario with those folk.
Glad you found them. Lol

Some religious people are realizing what they believed in was not true. But they don't have "the testicular fortitude" to abandon religion.

Besides the writing itself, what are the things I will need when I want to write a book?

Eventually a copy editor, a typesetter, publisher/printer, an ISBN, a distributor. Those are the main things.

Medaase. Do I need a particular sofware for the writing? If yes, then which one do you recommend? I'll be using Mac.

There are multiple software programs for writing. The most popular is Microsoft Word (this is also available for Mac). You can also use Google Docs, which free with a gmail account.
Also, for references, reference managers like EndNote and Mendeley can be helpful.
