Most Ghanaians can't speak and write their own native (Akan) language efficiently. Yet they are going to be forced to learn French?
This is a clear evidence that proves "The first one to the mind is The winner"- Dr. Kamau Kambon.!

KNOWing is better than beLIEving.

I think the only reason I would learn French would be to read the works of Diop and Obenga.

The interviewer takes the standard Eurocentric definition and explanation of "Globalization" as fact and is quite the universalist based on his "island" question.

His former colonizer reached his mind first via colonial education. Just like Dr. Obadele Kambon said: Miseducation, Diseducation, and Anti Education.

What are the intended goals of this move ?  It will interesting to see the fight to maintain one colonial oppressor's language over another's.   If the goal is to strengthen relations with neighboring countries then an Kmtyw shared language needs to be on the table.  Wagadu can lead the charge in putting forth this unifying measure.

Look at Cameroon fighting for one colonial enemy's language over another. We need more sensible folks here.

This is exactly the direct result of, as you've said many times, "Miseducation, Dis-education, and anti education. Our so called leaders themselves were educated by the colonial educational curriculum of their former colonizers, and they have been psychologically pacified by colonial religions. They've become political puppets, and in some cases, unconscious Neo colonial tools of their colonial puppeteers. So most Kmtyw leaders are not real leaders. Rather, they are Misleaders!
