Peace aK fam,
I was wondering if anyone has either seen these videos, with Gen. Sara Suten Seti attacking the mdw ntr? Has it thoroughly been translated? His position is a firm "no" and he supports those reasons. I currently don't know what to think, which of course means I would have to do my research. I'm fairly new to the study, but I would like to hear your perspective (especially those who have knowledge of the language and sacred texts) as I begin to delve into my studies. Let´s have this discussion fam.

Can we also get a video of Big Bird's stance on astrophysics and Mr. Snuffleupagus' thoughts on nuclear fission?

:D Very good. So basically he's not really cut out to make this sort of challenge, right? Would you say his argument is invalid?

Thanks, going to check this out.
Many that have made the statement Sara made but can't read/decipher Mdw Ntr themselves (or any other Kmtyw language or any other language). But if they could then that invalidates their statement. But the question is have they put in the study to be able to read it? And how do they know someone else can or can't read or write said language?

Very good point. I would just also add the discipline of translation. One thing tho, he did study under Dr. Ben, who he claims says that the mdw ntr has not been translated.

This is the funniest thing I've ready all year for sure! I think we need to start an archive of classic posts so that we can review them in a year in review every December. We can have a top 10 and I'm sure this would definitely make number 1. Challenge to all to top that.

No I won't be I have my own thoughts on the subject, but for Seti to like flip or flop is something to analyze

The illiterate drunk old man in front of the library has gathered a following saying no one knows how to read -- and collects enough from the children gathered around to buy his next bottle of wine. He even offers to debate the non-literate bag lady for a fee about whether or not the people in the library are actually reading or just holding books open to fool unsuspecting onlookers. Meanwhile, in the library, hundreds of literate people are reading and discussing the words of their ancestors from thounited snakesnds of years ago, including the warnings that they wrote about the need to stay away from illiterate drunks.
Discussion question: Is the illiterate drunk helping those children or harming them?
"As for the fool unable to hear,
nothing can ever be done for him.
He sees wisdom as ignorance,
and what is good as what is painful.
He commits every error,
to be accused of it each day.
He lives on what one dies of,
corrupt speech is his food.
His character in this is well-known to the officials,
saying 'living death' each day.
His faults are passed over from the sheer number of faults on him each day."

Being devil's advocate:
What if the man, although illiterate, although drunk, maybe even insane, never been inside the library, but sees from the outside that the library is built on shaky foundation. He sees the cracks in the outer walls, the shifting of the building. He knows something isn't right, He digs down and discovers the problem...

Playing Kmtyw's advocate:
What if we stopped following random scammers and hustlers with webcams and actually listened to the words of our ancestors for ourselves?
I would like to address Tenkamenin´s comment (I don´t see the message on here anymore, I guess it was deleted?), if I was actually playing devil´s advocate or believe Seti. Brother, I'm neutral. Like I said in the beginning of the thread, I am going to do my own research. It is my goal to study the mdw ntr, but first I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. I agree with Dr. Ọbádélè in the sense that we as Kmtyws have the ability to read the mdw ntr by listening to and communicating with our ancestors. I have no doubt about that. However, Seti (and Young Pharaoh) raises questions if Kemetic scholars and Egyptologists are actually"speaking" the language, especially if it is based on a eureurasiaan classification system and alphabet. Pronunciation is quite arbitrary due to absence of values. On top of that the authenticity of the Rosetta Stone is questioned. There also the historicity, and political and economic motivations behind unlocking the mystery system. Seti and Pharaoh did not speak solely on conjecture, but presented a lot of facts, and I have yet to see or hear anyone contest them. So I am playing "devil's advocate" and asking questions, to hear the Kmtyw explanation, you see?

Unfortunately, my son was tapping on the phone while I was typing so I couldn't complete my thought, but you responded.
Overall the presentation was muddy and all over the place. Furthermore, Young Pharaoh was quick to point out Brother Mboli's credentials or lack thereof and failed to mention his own. Also, these guys are disrespectful, for instance, why did Young Pharaoh call Brother Mboli a "bitch"? We should be able to disagree with our own respectfully.
Young Pharaoh says,
"Last but not least 70% of the worlds alphabets has been changed to Latin! Includin Kmtyw Languages! So if somethin sounds alike that's why! Get yo ass outta here!"
What's comical is that these guys believe that our linguists connect words based on the way they look on paper, ignoring comparative studies of various cultures. Again they are looking from the outside and not within.

More thoughts about this presentation. Seti and Young Pharaoh argue that 70% of the world's languages (including Kmtyw languages) have been Latinized, therefore, and somehow attempting to discredit any comparative studies being undertaken by Kmtyw scholars. The glaring problem, aside from calling Brother Mboli a "bitch" and "motherfucker," is that neither one of them in their 5-hour presentation provided examples of Bro. Mboli's deficiencies. They gave a 5-hour presentation and couldn't drill down on Mboli's work? Saying it's deficient doesn't mean it's deficient, show us how well you know the field of Linguistics. Also, if I missed their analysis on Mboli's work please point me to that section of the video.

Mboli writes in French. Something tells me that elementary school drop-outs may not have a strong working knowledge of French.
On a related note, however, I wanted to announce an online debate about whether or not soccer can be played since I don't play it myself nor do I understand the rules. I know some people claim to play it but something tells me that my abject ignorance about the game should trump the knowledge/experience of any soccer players, coaches, referees or spectators, for that matter. Any takers? Me vs. one of the Jawaras from the Andaman islands. Just $50 to stream it live.

I agree, they can challenge without disrespecting the elders, no need for that. They didn´t cover much of Jean-Claude Mboli, and the little they did went over my head because it was my first time hearing about, I'm going to look more into him. Thanks for mentioning this.

I would recommend not going all the way to France to read what your ancestors wrote in Kmt...learn to read directly the words of our ancestors.
