I haven't watched the film, but the discussion was great. I'm glad a Christian had a chance to hear that the book he calls pure has concepts and passages stolen from Kmt.

Yeah, I tried to stick and move because that could have easily degenerated into a back and forth where "if you argue with a fool, the fool wins." Let's let that marinate and just see where he ends up in like 10 years. Probably couldn't be much worse than his current trajectory.

The numerology and naming yourself a eureurasian name could be for a reason got me.  I had to rewind to make sure i her correct.   The brotha next to her made it pretty plain.   Seems the inability to think for self outside the circumference of what our enemies have taught us is difficult.

They need to listen to the Dr. Kamalu interviews.  Especially the Sis at the end that was searching.  I think what happens is without the fundamental grasp of what is Kmtyw though first we get misinformed and carry foreign thought into Kmtyw systems.  And then we wind up with the equal sign.

Yeah, the numerology sis is just "coming into consciousness," whatever that means, and, like many, has a habit of declaring herself woke without going through the trouble of actually waking up - much less actually getting out of bed. That comment was more from the ol' "white man works in mysterious ways" files. When they make an arbitrary decision to name July after Julius Ceasar or August after Augustus, that's supposedly some divine thing that we're supposed to take as sacrosanct to be doing calculations, celebrating birthdays, etc. But if we actually take the time to learn, study and implement what the non-arbitrary system that our Ancestors originated that is beneficial to Kmtyw=Black people, that's a little too mundane, apparently. Only what they do  and have a footprint on is "for a reason." The brother, Yaw, did make it plain, but I don't think she's ready to listen because, like most, she is still finding new and creative ways to defend the little white agent that was implanted in her for the benefit of our white=eureurasian enemies and to the detriment of our good Kmtyw=Black selves. The last time, there was a half-white woman who came with the same "what white 'people' did is for a reason" and the numerology sister gravitated to that like flies on honey. I agree. Dr. Kamalu is one of our best thinkers. Your assessment is correct. You have to have the foundations of Kmtyw=Black thought otherwise you have a (potentially) compromised immune system.

One of my childhood friends is coming into consciousness, and he's consuming a lot of material online that's confusing him. I told him to check out Abibitumikasa, so we'll see if he joins. Nonetheless, this reminds me of the Akan Proverb, "Ɔbisafoɔ nto kwan." Once you embark on the path of awakening, it's important to find a mentor and ask questions, because reading the map yourself can be difficult.

I once had a dream that I financed the construction of giant bright blinking billboards all across Accra showing the ten commandments and the 42 declarations of innocence with a message chastising the people for insulting Ancient Egypt in their church while stealing ten of there laws.

While we do have television stations that operate in local languages, we need a TV station that promotes our tradition and culture in a positive light and expels the misconceptions as well. It would be nice to have a TV show that featured a Ɔkomfoɔ as a superhero or savior of a community.

I'm taking Advanced Akan Twi with Dr. O right now and I have a new appreciation for Kmtyw proverbs.
