Friday February 2nd, 2018 Kicks off our Spoken Word Series at North Legon!

It's a global Kmtyw evening of Enlightenment through Spoken Word, Song, and Performance at the Lion House in Ghana and online at Abibitumi.com!

We're calling on all performance artists to come through and show your talent.

Theme: Our Story (for Black History Month)

It was so BlackTastic!!! The creativity was off the chain! Guest visit from Mfundishi. There were drummers, singers, poets... Loved it! Loved it! Loved it!

This is great. I was wondering are repats learning native family systems (I think in in Akan they call it "abusua" and "nton")?
If those classical Kmtyw systems could be exported and popularized back in the diaspora that would solve a lot of our problems and sense of disunity, I think.
