in igbo you say 'kedu' to say how are you. kedu is short for 'kedu ka i mere?'

kedu means how.

in igbo culture there are 4 (anọ) days of the week known as market days. the market days are Eke, Orie, Afor and Nkwo.

in igbo we say kà chí fóó to mean good night. it is saying 'may the day break'.

one of the ways we say goodbye in igbo is Kà émésị́á. this is like say 'let it be later' or 'let it end'.?

ututu - morning

oma - good

the traditional greeting is above - i saala chi? (have you spread open with the day?)
