Kalla wa fwila mu mamba

Ce récit, présenté dans sa langue originale et dans sa traduction en français poursuit le travail amorcé par Victor Nimy, ingénieur agronome, stagiaire à l'IRD (ex-orstorm) et Beembé lui-même, lors de sa participation au receuil des 860 proverbes beembé d'Arthur Tsouari parus sous le titre "L'arbre des sagesses (http://www.abibitumikasa.com/forums/kikongo-language-resources/78529-mboongi-tree-wisdom-arthur-tsouari-800-proverbs-book-beembe-french-english-2.html#post86269)" (L'Harmattan, 2001).
This story, presented in its original language and its translation into french continues the work begun by Victor Nimy, agronomist, intern at the IRD (ex-orstorm) and a Beembé himself, during his participation in the corpus of 860 proverbs beembé Arthur Tsouari published under the title "The tree of wisdom (http://www.abibitumikasa.com/forums/kikongo-language-resources/78529-mboongi-tree-wisdom-arthur-tsouari-800-proverbs-book-beembe-french-english-2.html#post86269)" (L'Harmattan, 2001).
"Ha Yulu-Nkoyi ha ba ba mutu mossi nknumbu Loubassa. Wa ba na mukasi mossi nkumbu Nkengué Luboto. Mukasi wande wa muheri bio bintso : mutima na makua mu kisalu, kutia, baala ba babwe bari na mvingu… Mu ntono mukasi wande wa bakiri luzitisu lwa fwana na mutu : mbutukulu ya hana bumutu ko. Mu ntono luzingu lwa Loubassa lwa ba lwa lubwe, ntsayi na ntsayi, baatu ba ha ntsa bula na kaanda diandi diri muteku Mouyondzi na Mabombo baba muvumuna."
"In the village of Yulu-Nkoyi lived a man named Loubassa. He had a wife, Nkengué Louboto. She had given everything to her husband, attendance at work, love, beautiful and strong children ... Through her, he acquired the respect a man deserves : the rank that birth gives you is not enough to establish a reputation. Loubassa was so happy. His orderly life, the serenity of his family life had earned him the respect of the villagers and all his relatives scattered around Mouyondzi which Yulu-Nkoyi depended on."
"Dans le village de Yulu-Nkoyi vivait un homme nommé Loubassa. Il avait une épouse, Nkengué Louboto. Elle avait tout donné à son mari : assiduité au travail, amour, beaux et vigoureux enfants… Par elle, il avait acquis le respect que mérite un homme : le rang que la naissance vous accorde ne suffit pas à asseoir une réputation. Loubassa était donc heureux. Sa vie rangée, la sérénité de sa vie familiale lui avaient valu le respect des villageois et de toute sa parenté dispersée aux alentours de Mouyondzi, dont dépendait Yulu-Nkoyi."
