Title: Parlons Vili - Let's talk Vili - By Gervais Loëmbe-gctid86938

Excerpt :

"Nuni ku dumuka ku bika lu sala,
mutu ku fwa ku bika Ii bungu.
The bird who flies away leaves a feather,
The man who dies leaves his mark ".

The vili, tchi vili, is the multi-millennial language spoken by a people of Central Kmt, the Vili, ba Vili, founders of the kingdom of Loango.
This latter term, Loango is also another way to describe this ethnic group and its dialect. It is established that the Vili are part of the kongo subgroup, belonging to the Bantu language group.

Mainly in the region of Kouilou in southern Congo - Brazzaville, the Vili and those related are installed on the entire western seaboard of Central Kmt, in an area ranging from Cabinda to Gabon via Congo, to about seventy miles inland.

Their historic home is Bwali or Diosso. The main city, Pointe-Noire is the former political capital and the current economic capital of Congo - Brazzaville.

The Kongo subgroup to which the Vili belong represents 51% of the Congolese population, which has three million inhabitants.

Remember also that Gabon comes from ngabu: mud, swamp, term applied in vili to designate this marshy country, and its capital, Libreville, would have been created by 400 vili slaves freed from the ship "the Illisia." Similarly, Angola comes from un'ngolo : a battalion, a group of strong men.
