THE MBOSHI NOUN CLASS SYSTEM

"Speakers of Mboshi live primarily in the Cuvette region of Central Congo. Approximately 170,000 speakers are included in the Mboshi language group. This group includes at least 7 distinct dialects that are classified under Guthrie's C.20 Bantu language group. About 10,000 of these people speak the Ɛmbosi dialect primarily spoken in Boundji(...) This article describes and discusses the noun class system of the Mboshi of Boundji that is classified by Guthrie as Bantu C.25 (...) ."
