Family, the enslavement of Kmtyw people is not my very favorite topic.  But it is unavoidable.  What inspires me when it comes to the subject of enslavement is resistance to enslavement.  Victimization gets old with me quick; resistance stirs my blood.  Right now I am reviewing the book Maroon Societies, by Richard Price.  It is an excellent book!  And the story of resistance by Kmtyws in the Spanish colonies in the Americas is especially interesting!  BTW, did you know that probably the largest revolt of enslaved people was the Revolt of Zanj (Blacks) in Southern Iraq during the 9th century.  It was bigger than the Revolt of Spartacus in Rome and even the Haitian Revolution!  The Revolt of the Zanj!  Kmtyw people, now yourself!
