1. Ɔbaa na ɔnim ne kunu yam kɔm
A woman knows when her husband is hungry
(it is a wife who best knows her husband's needs)

2. ɔbaa ansua adeɛ yɔ, na ɔkɔ awareɛ a, wɔde ne nkwan gu ahina/toa mu kyerɛ ɔman
If a woman has not learned how to do things and gets married, they pour her soup into a water pot/bottle and show it to the public

3. Ɔbaa brɛfoɔ kɔ awareɛ a, ɔde ade pa ba fie
If a hard-working woman gets married, she brings good things into the house

4. ɔbaa de fɛɛfɛ kɔ awareɛ a, onnya
If a woman uses beauty only to get married, she will not be successful

5. ɔbaa ho yɛ fɛ a, na ɛfiri ɔbarima
If a woman is beautiful it is because of a man

6. ɔbaa nya adepa a, obi nte, onya amaneɛ, na ɔbarima anya amaneɛ
If a woman gets a fortune, no one hears of it, if she has trouble, then a man has trouble
(Women share their disadvantages not their advantages with men)

7. ɔbaa te sɛ akokɔ, yɛde aburoo na ɛsɔne/kye no
A woman is like chicken; we use maize to lure her

8. ɔbaa te sɛ ohuriiɛ; ɔnom mogya na ɔmma mogya
A woman is like the tsetsefly; she drinks blood but she doesn't give blood

9. Mmaa pɛ ɛdɛ kyiri ka
Women like pleasure (but) abhor debt

10. Mmaa rekamfo w'ahoɔfɛ no, na wɔrekamfo w'akabɔ
As women admire your good looks, they admire your expenditure

11. Mmaa se "wo ho yɛ fɛ!" a, ɛne ka.
If women say "you are handsome!", it leads to debt

12. ɔbaa a ɔbɛbɔ adwaman, nnim sɛ wakɔ aware pa
If a woman is going to commit adultery, it doesn't matter that she has a good marriage

13. ɔbaa de ka a, ɔde ne twɛ na ɛko
If a woman is in debt, she uses her vagina to get rid of it

14. ɔbaa da ɔbarima akyi
A woman lies behind a man

15. ɔbaa nya ne ho a, ɔdane ɔbarima
If a woman becomes wealthy, she changes into a man

16. Ɔbaa a ɔpɛ ne kunu, ɔse: "mehwɛ wo ara"
A loving woman respects her husband

17. ɔbaa pa ne deɛ ɔtie ne kunu asɛm
A good woman is she who listens to her husband's advice

18. ɔbaa ne ɔbarima hyia a, ɔbaa yɛ ɔbaa na ɔbarima nso yɛ ɔbarima.
When a woman and a man meet, the woman remains a woman and a man remains a man

19. ɔbaa tɔn nyaadewa na ɔntɔn atuduro
A woman sells garden eggs but she doesn't sell gunpowder

20. ɔbaa mmɔdemmɔfoɔ/ɔbaasima na ne ba hyɛ n'akyiri a, ɔsoa nnoɔma.
While the hardworking/ideal woman puts her child on her back, she carries a load at the same time

21. ɔbaa pa na ntɛtia nam n'apakyie aseɛ
Small red ants crawl over the back of the gourd of a good woman

22. ɔbaa ahoɔden wɔ n'atofo mu.
A woman's strength is in her bustle

23. ɔbaa na ɔwo ɔbarima
It is a woman that gives birth to a man

24. ɔbaa bonoaa na ɔde kotokuro yi ne twɛ suɔ
A tough woman uses cutlass to shave her pubic hair

25. ɔbaa Yaa Ataa se n'ani yɛ den, nso yɛde ne twɛ so nwi na ɛto hyeɛ
The woman Yaa Ataa says she is overly assertive, yet we use the hair of her vagina to mark the boundary

26.Besia  suankye banyin ne suankye a, ne nsa ho fɔw
  'If a woman urinates like a man does, her hands get wet.'

27. Besia gor mbanyin gor a, wɔkyer no mbanyin kyer
  'If a woman plays like a man, she gets defeated as a man.'

28. ᴐbaa se ᴐbehyɛ torᴐsa a, momma ᴐnhyԑ, na ԑbԑto ne dwonso
  If a woman says she is going to put on trousers, let her put them on, and she will have problems urinating
