I would like to take the time to say meda mo ase pa ara/e se pupo (I thank y'all very much) to students and visitors for coming out to spend time with us at Abibitumi Kasa Kmtyw Language/Liberation Institute's final Twi and Yoruba class presentations this past Saturday at AKALI:
Ifajakuta, Ama, Nkoso, Sen Res, ESI, Kwasi, Shangowande's family, Baba Shangowande, noi, daim, dhamira, Baba Ogunmola, Nana Efia, Aziza, Iilonga, lee willis, oshunolode, aiethops, kofi, newworldKmtyw, obratumi, Dexter Lewis, Ifetayo, Omeme, nisankofa, ananse, inpdum, kwesi, Afia, wadohawadoha, Oshimaki, Nyameky[ch949], nana_afia_b, and clem willis.
Both those who were able to stay for the whole time and those who were just able to pass through contributed to making the event an Abibitumi (BlackPowerful) success!!!
I'd especially like to say meda mo ase, e se (thank y'all) to students Nana Efia (my mother), Nkoso, Ama, Nyameky[ch949], Baba Sangowande, Iya Noi, Kwesi, Dhamira, Baba Ogunmola and Kwasi for BlackPowerful presentations including:
AbadintoO Nkommodie (dialogue on Akan naming ceremonies in Twi), AbadintoO dwom (Naming ceremony song), Adinkra mm[ch949]bus[ch949]m (Adinkra proverbs), AkOm nnwom (Akom songs in Twi), Ifá verses (Ogunda meji, verse one in Yoruba with translation), Iwure (prayers in Yoruba), Mpae[ch949]yi (Libations in Twi) and Ayan (Akan drum text proverbs in Twi)!This was a BlackNificently inspiring Final presentation if I do say so myself.
