If yt god is so great as they claimed then OUR ancestors and US today should still make their god speak to US in OUR native tongue. Praising their god is the equivalent of deifying yt.

  • This video is told from the perspective of yt, I thought it was necessary to post this video to show how Kmtyws from Amerikkka our represented on the continent [praying to yt and eating DEAD turkey to celebrate ThanksTAKING]. Serious Abibifahodie Kmtyws MUST dedicate ourselves to repatriating and doing the much needed work on the continent.

very informative piece nua Sundiata. meda ase for sharing it. its funny how in our excitement and drive to "go back to Kmt" that we forget to leave our yt selves behind in america/c'bean/kwk. that really jumped out at me in that video. i had to chuckle because here were people who look obruni and talk like obruni insisting that our brothers and sisters automatically see them as part of the family. also there seemed to be a disconnect in terms of cultural understanding on the part of some of the returnees. to return home, truly return, how can we live separate from our brothers and sisters or have the "we have to tell you what to do" attitude and expect them to embrace us with open arms??? no, we have to go with the respect and humility of true brother/sisterhood. live with and among our abusua (family) and leave our yurugu mentality and ways with yurugu. that's why the work being done here at AKALI is so important because not only can we (re)learn our language but we (re)learn the culture that we lost so that IF/WHEN we return we aren't so much strangers or obruni but relatives.

@ Aisha, Ampa ooo!!! yt [yurugu] embedded characteristics MUST be left on the WRONG side of the Atlantic. Mama Kmt doesn't need to add any more problems to her list

@ Obadele, The people that you know whoappeared in the film, have they seen it? If so, what do they think? Have you met the retired married couple or the women who conducted the "sankofa" reenactment?

I know the mother and daughter who appeared together. We actually stayed with the daughter when we first got in. They've seen it but I really didn't get an in depth reaction from them. Coincidentally, they're back in ATL temporarily. The old couple I understand went back permanently.
