Ori: the Pathfinder
By Chief FAMA

Ohun Ẹnu Ifa:
Ori wo ibi ire gbe mi de
Ese wo ibi ire sin mi ya
Ibi Ope Agunka ngbe mi i re, mi o mo ibe
Ibi ire ni Ope Agunka ngbe mi i re, ibi ire.

Words Of Ifa
Ori, choose a good place for me [ori lead me in the right direction]
Ese**, make the right detour [ese, support ori by moving towards the right direction]
I do not know where ori is leading me
I do believe, however, that ori is leading me in the right direction....

Change, the only phenomenon that is constant, has a clever way of altering humans' programs and schedules on earth. Sometimes "change" is intrusive; sometime "change" is forceful; most times, "change" is subtle. However change decides to impact a life, its presence is always deeply felt. Change influenced by intrusiveness might be the welcome positive solution to a cancerous problem. Change that is forceful might the needed catapult to a better direction. Change that is subtle, however, might bring forth the tenderness one seeks and desires. Look at the clichés: "Life is too short" and "Life is sweet." "Life is too short" rears it head when one is in pain or life has just reminded one of one's immortality. "Life is sweet" is when one is peaceful, happy, and contended.
Whether intrusive, forceful, or subtle, we are co-pilots in "Change's" movements because change does not happen in a vacuum: change pulls its human buddies with it in its constant motion. Therefore, make the best of today by including the necessary positive change/s that will bring smiles to your face when you retire to bed at night. Also, make the best of your life by removing obstacles, or moving away from contagious obstacles, and allow the fluidity of positive change to take effect in your life. The difference between the popular clichés, "Life is too short" and "Life is sweet" might lie in the positive change one needs to make, TODAY. A retrogressive condition that needs to be changed should be changed! A ji ire ni oni o (Good people, good people).
